Concept
Nowadays, our data is collected digitally in massive amounts. I would say that compared to the traditional biological body, a new digital body is emerging. For that, I want to explore data visualization via digital programs to define my curiosity of how it will look like. Also, through movements of zooming in and out, I want to contemplate on the meaning of data. Further more, I want to define the constructions and flow of data as a visualization to research how artists can approach this subject.
Questions
What is data and data visualization? How can I approach visually the zooming in and out in data visualization? What is the connection between users and data nowadays? What kind of hidden meanings does data have in our world? If I can show data visualization, which data can I show and which not? What is important?
What can we find out from interpreting data? Through complex data, can I notice different kinds of relationships and interconnections appear?
